These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of neurospicyblackwomen.com and your purchase of services, membership, or other offerings from Neurospicy Black Women LLC ("NBW," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website or purchasing from NBW, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
NBW offers speaking engagements, workplace training, organizational consulting, community building consultations, membership access, and a business and resource directory. Services are described on the website and are subject to availability.
Fixed-Price Consultations
Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session. Once payment is received, you will receive scheduling instructions via email. Sessions are conducted virtually unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Inquiry-Based Services
Speaking engagements, workplace trainings, organizational consulting, and community buildout services require a completed inquiry form before booking. A custom quote or proposal will be provided based on your request. Payment is required before the service date is confirmed.
Scope of Services
Services are delivered as described at the time of purchase. Any changes to scope, format, or deliverables after booking must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
Consultations
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before a scheduled consultation may be rescheduled one time at no additional charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable.
Inquiry-Based Services
Once a custom invoice has been paid and a service date has been confirmed, cancellations are non-refundable. If NBW is unable to fulfill a confirmed service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a rescheduled date or a credit toward a future service.
Digital Products and Directory Listings
All sales of digital products and directory listings are final. Refunds are not available once a listing has been approved and published. If a listing is declined, a full refund will be issued.
Memberships
Membership payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your membership at any time and your access will continue through the end of the current billing period.
3. Membership Terms
Access
Membership grants access to the NBW member portal and the content, resources, and spaces available within your tier. Access begins upon confirmed payment and continues on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Tier Benefits
Benefits are provided as described on the membership page at the time of enrollment. NBW reserves the right to update, add, or remove member benefits with reasonable notice.
Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
Spice Rack + Business Tier
Business directory eligibility is included with The Spice Rack + Business tier. Business visibility does not guarantee sales, bookings, referrals, clients, engagement, or promotion. Listings are reviewed before publishing and must align with NBW community values and website standards. NBW reserves the right to approve, edit, decline, or remove listings at any time.
4. Booking and Scheduling
Scheduling links for paid consultations are sent via Acuity Scheduling after payment is confirmed. For inquiry-based services, scheduling is confirmed after payment of the custom invoice.
It is your responsibility to book your session within any applicable timeframe provided in your confirmation email. NBW is not responsible for sessions that expire due to failure to schedule.
5. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, graphics, images, resources, worksheets, and recordings, is the property of Neurospicy Black Women LLC and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.
Materials shared during paid sessions or within the member portal are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or resold.
6. Disclaimer
NBW's services are educational, community-centered, and informational in nature. Nothing provided by NBW constitutes medical, clinical, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or medical emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
Results from NBW's consulting, training, or community services are not guaranteed. Outcomes depend on many factors outside of NBW's control.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NBW is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, participation in services, or membership. Our total liability in any matter related to NBW's services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
8. Community Standards
By joining the NBW community or participating in any NBW space, you agree to engage with respect, honesty, and care. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or harmful behavior toward other community members or NBW staff will result in removal from the community without refund.
9. Changes to These Terms
NBW may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website or membership after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
